1. How to install TVPlanificator?

Create your account by clicking on "Registration" in the lower left corner of the direct-tv.ru website main page. Fill in the required "Login" and "Password" fields using Latin letters and numbers. Enter the verification code respecting capitals, and click "Register".

After the appearance of the confirmation message "Your file has been well established", click on "My channels" link.

Download the installation file of TVPlanificator setup.exe, by clicking on the download TVPlanificator link. In the window that appears after the download, click “Execute” to run the installation program and then click “Next” and “Finish” buttons in the dialog box. After installing of the program, restart your computer.

Once your computer is restarted, run TVPlanificator (if it is not activated when Windows starts). To do so, select All Programs (or Programs) -> Phenix Tec -> TVPlanificator in the Windows Start menu or click on the “TVPlanificator” shortcut on your desktop.

In the TVPlanificator dialog box, select the English language ("EN ").
The name of the folder where videos will be recorded appears in the field "Save To ...". By default, it is the folder TVPlanificator located in the My Documents folder. You can choose any other folder by clicking on the icon showing a folder on the right of this field. Enter your login and password you have chosen when you registered on the direct-tv.ru website (if you are not registered yet, follow the link “Click here to register…” at the bottom of the window). Click on the "OK" button. In the lower right corner of the screen you will see a blue icon of TVPlanificator. This means that the TVPlanificator is installed.

2. How to plan the recording of your channels?

To schedule recording of the selected channel, you have to go to the page of this channel and click on the link schedule recording of this channel.

NB This link is present only on pages that can be recorded.

Choose a date and a start time. You can specify the date and time directly in the "Start recording" field or by using the incorporated calendar. To do so, click on the icon representing a calendar, then choose the date and the time. By default, the clock displays the current time. To advance the clock, click on the fields representing hours and minutes. When you click, the hour value increases by one hour. Hour values vary between zero and 23, and then come back to zero. The field representing the minutes is organized in the same way. After setting the date and time of the recording start in the calendar window, press the "Enter" button on your keyboard.

In the two next fields, set the recording duration length. By default it is one hour. Check the numbers in all the fields and then click on the blue button. In the table that appears, you will see the channel you have chosen as well as the time of the start and the end of the recording. It means that recording of the channel is well planned.

If the recording is expected in less than 10 minutes, the start of it may be delayed a few minutes later. To avoid the delay, right-click with your mouse on the TVPlanificator icon in the taskbar and in the menu which appears, left-click mouse button on "Additional verification of schedule".

You can schedule an unlimited number of records. The main condition is that the time interval you choose is free (not occupied by other planned recordings).
 
3. How can we know that registration has begun?

At the scheduled time the icon of TVPlanificator on the taskbar turns red. It means that recording has begun. By default, files are placed in the TVPlanificator subfolder, located in the "My Documents" folder. These files have the "WMV" extension and a name corresponding to the name of the channel with the date and start time (For example, the file name « Vesti 24.21_12_2008.13-44-38.wmv » means that the channel Vesti24 was recorded on December 21st 2008 at 13h44min).

4. Can I use the TVPlanificator to record the channels of other sites?

Yes. But only for live recording. To do so, right-click on the TVPlanificator icon in the taskbar of your computer and, when the menu appears, click left-click on "Start live recording".

In the window that appears, enter the URL of a video. To stop recording, right-click on "Stop Recording".
